TRYOUTS FOR THE 2026 SPRING SEASON

At Blue Star, our mission is to develop great young field hockey players and great young women. We believe in using Field Hockey as a vehicle for empowering young girls to be confident in their abilities. As a sport, Field Hockey has been a major positive force in our lives. We also believe in using field hockey to build character, work ethic and teach life-long lessons.
Any NEW player ages U12 - U19 who would like to join us must register for a tryout. *$50 tryout fee
All CURRENT players must sign up for a team placement at no cost. EMAILS WILL BE SENT WITH INFORMATION.

Tryouts are for the Spring 2026 club season
Each teams will compete in 1-3 local tournaments and train weekly with their team. Showcases/Regional Club Championships are INVITE ONLY.

MARCH 3RD
5:00 - 6:15 pm: U10/U12
6:15 - 7:30 pm: U14
7:30 - 9:00 pm: U16/U19
MARCH 5TH
5:00 - 6:15 pm: U10/U12
6:15 - 7:30 pm: U14
7:30 - 9:00 pm: U16/U19
TRYOUT FEE: $50 For any new Players
** No cost to current Winter athletes** - Please check your email for Team Placement Info
DETAILS:
Please bring ALL of your equipment to tryouts. Stick, mouthguard, shinguards, water, turf shoes/cleats, and energy!
GK - please bring your goalie equipment you usually train with. If you do not have your equipment please reach out to your high school or middle school coach. If you need help please reach out to us!

Day of Info
Arrival/Check In: Please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled tryouts to check in and receive your try out number. Current players please wear your Blue Star Pinnie.
Equipment: We will be playing on turf, so please bring all of your equipment stick, shin guards, mouth guard, turf shoes/cleats, and plenty of water).
Attire: It is mandatory to wear a pinny during tryouts.
Punctuality: Tryouts will begin on time, so please be ready to play as soon as we step on the field.

BECOME A MEMEBER OF USA FH
Blue Star Field Hockey is a USA FH sanctioned club. USA FH membership is required to participate in any Blue Star events.
